Our Gatherings

When we meet together, our gatherings are modeled after the first church, described in the book of Acts.

  • “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer … Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people.” – Acts 2:42-47

Our churches meet each week in homes on Sunday evenings. We start with a meal – the Lord’s Supper – which was at the heart of the early church gatherings (1 Cor. 11).

Then, we have a more formal meeting time, which can include singing, prayer, teaching, sharing and discussion. During this time, everyone is encouraged to bring their contribution for the building up of the church (1 Cor. 14:26).

This provides everyone an opportunity to share what’s going on in their life and use the gifts God has given them.
